Southeastern
Southeastern serves London, Kent and East Sussex and operates one of the busiest networks in the country, running 1,770 services a day, carrying 138m customer journeys a year, from 181 stations across 14 lines of route and 540 miles of track.
It runs three distinct but integrated service groups into five London terminal stations plus the transformed London Bridge, its ‘metro’ service within southeast London, longer distance ‘mainline’ services and highspeed – the UK’s first domestic highspeed service.
Southeastern has an ambition to grow to 175m journeys a year by the end of 2025. It is working hard to build a better, more reliable, and sustainable railway by transforming the customer experience, working ever more closely in an alliance with Network Rail and supporting and developing its people. Customer satisfaction is at 87% and following a significant programme to transform its timetable, Southeastern is now working to deliver improvements year-on-year and cancellations sit at an all-time industry-leading low of 2%.
